A materials chemist by training, I teach and work towards fostering interest in the sciences. I currently teach various chemistry/physics classes at a boarding school near Washington D.C.

I earned my PhD in chemistry at Syracuse University. My research dealt with oxidation and the morphological evolution in transition metal nanoparticles to create corrosion-resistant stainless steels. I obtained my Bachelor of Technology degree from the Institute of Chemical Technology in Mumbai.
